BHRASHTACHAR is the story of journalist-editor Bhavani who wields her pen like a sword to fight injustice and corruption.

BHRASHTACHAR is the story of widow Janki, who, to save her blind daughter Gopi rom panderers of lust, herself becomes the mistress of Fatte, a local hoodlum.

BHRASHTACHAR is the story of Inspector Ashutosh - who drinks to forget his sorrows - to whom Bhavani entrusts Janki's safety, and who maintains that even the police can take no action against the hoodlum Fatte, because politicians need hoodlums to remain in power.
